How we started

How we started

Mike Mckee and Danny Young were both touring full-time as professional drummers when they first crossed paths in 2017. Little did they know that just a year later they would own a fully operational business together, receive a US patent for their first musical instrument, win two “Best In Show” awards at NAMM, and have a brand recognized across the world.

As their company and brand continued to expand, they wanted to find new and unique ways to teach and inspire others using everything they had learned about music, education, business, product development, and even mental health. When they happen to meet Mr. Michael Rodgers (also bald) and he proposed an opportunity to expand into the education world, they jumped at the opportunity!

With music and mindfulness as the foundation, they put their three bald heads together and created Baldman Education, an interactive, unique, and fun way to promote social, emotional learning, creativity, growth mindsets, and more!
